This session will provide attendees with an in-depth description of the CJPRMA Commercial Insurance Programs including Property, Auto Physical Damage and Boiler & Machinery. The session will review, in detail, the new Property Memorandum of Coverage, including a discussion of covered perils, limits, exclusions and the claims process. The Auto Physical Damage program will be discussed in detail, describing the valuation process for equipment in the program and a complete discussion of the claims processing requirements. Mr. Cooney will also discuss the history of these programs, how they have developed over time and how they benefit the members of CJPRMA. This is a must-attend program for all participants.
All CJPRMA members who participate in the Property Program or APD Program are encouraged to attend. CJPRMA members considering participation in any of these programs are also encouraged to attend, as are all Directors, Alternates and any staff members who participate in the processing of Property or APD program claims and renewal information.
This session will provide attendees with an in-depth description of the CJPRMA General Liability Insurance Program, an occurrence based risk retention program which utilizes some commercial reinsurance. The session will review, in detail, the Memorandum of Coverage, including a discussion of covered perils, limits, exclusions and the claims process and a complete discussion of the claims processing requirements. We will also discuss the history of the program, how development has occurred over time and the benefits to the members of CJPRMA. This is a must-attend program for all participants.

This 4-hour session has been designed to familiarize the attendees with the California Joint Powers Risk Management Authority. The program is designed for CJPRMA Member Agencies, their designated Board Member, Alternate and any other staff members who work directly or indirectly with liability claims, insurance, or other risk management programs. The attendee will be introduced to the history of CJPRMA, a detailed discussion of programs available and the procedures for filing of claims. In addition the attendees will be provided with the description of all services available to CJPRMA Members.
